Life’s been a bit mad lately and weight loss hasn’t been top of our priority list and that’s ok?
We’re home from a few days away and whilst we were down there we looked at the habits that we’ve got out of and want to implement again. A big one for me was planning all our meals not just what we are having for dinner! So I took some time to think about what we’d all enjoy this week and decided lunches are a bit boring for me at the minute - or I’ve skipped it all together!
I love a shop bought grain salad but they can be pricey and high in SWIPs so I decided to create my own for this week’s lunches. Simple as roasting off some veg cooking up some grains (I went for mixed quinoa and barley) and throwing it together this will then for the base of my lunches this week. I’ve got pomegranate seeds to add some nice mixed leave and rocket and the can just choose whatever protein I fancy but I’m particularly looking forward to my halloumi 😍 simple changes that will get us back in the right head space because prioritising our health is important to us.
