Hello April ✨🌷

Longer days, lighter evenings, and 30 fresh chances to make memories and chase goals.

I’ve got a holiday coming up this month, a week of much-needed rest and reset 🌊 (with a few sunrise runs in there too).

But I’m still staying locked in with my nutrition and training (working around the trip, of course). I’m also kicking off a new 10K running program, and I’m excited to see how much progress I can make.

New month, fresh energy.

How has this last month been for you?

For me, it’s been a busy one, concerts, good food, nights out, family time… the list goes on. But I’ve still tried to stay as consistent as possible while enjoying life along the way. That balance is what it’s all about.

Now we turn the page to April.

If you want to progress in your fitness journey, STOP doing these 4 things ❗️

🚫 Stop saying “I’ll start tomorrow.”
If that hasn’t worked for you before, it probably won’t work now. Start today. What are you waiting for? The best time to begin is right now.

🚫 Stop surrounding yourself with people who pull you down.
Your time and energy are limited. Spend them with people who lift you up, support you, and encourage you to become the best version of yourself.

🚫 Stop being so hard on yourself.
We all have flaws. No one has everything figured out. That’s the beauty of life and the journey we’re all on. Focus on your strengths and show yourself grace when it comes to your weaknesses. ❤️

🚫 Stop being afraid to ask for help.
Asking for help doesn’t make you weak, it helps you move forward. Be open to constructive criticism, apply what you learn, and grow. There’s so much we can learn from each other. I’m always asking for advice and support in different areas of my life.

Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, it’s from what you do consistently.

Gaining a healthy lifestyle can be overwhelming at times, trust me I know.

It’s hard to know what to eat to fuel your body right. It’s so much easier to quit than to push though. I’ve been there! I was on and off the bandwagon every few days.

So lets STOP overthinking it and take that first step. I believe in you, you’ve got this.

Let’s avoid feeling overwhelmed, and let’s take it one day at a time, one meal at a time, one step at a time.

Consistency each day is what adds up to success.

You are capable of more than you know.

I’d planned a restful week off… turns out it had other plans. 🤍

Country concerts, shopping, good food, Dreamboys (and somehow ending up on stage way out of my comfort zone), beach views, beach runs, and a little bit of downtime in between.

Wouldn’t change a second of it… but now I’m ready to get back on plan and start hitting those goals. ✨💪
