A slightly unusual day at work …🙌
It was a pleasure having Michael Gove (MP) and his team join my Mindful Eating & Healthy lunch practical session today (Camberley).
Sensory learning was used to educate Clients with disabilities (e.g. learning disabilities, stroke, brain injuries), on how to use the 5 food groups and achieve a balanced meal.
Healthy balanced meals may help to reduce risks of illnesses or better management an existing illness.
Healthy balanced meals are linked to improving (listing just a few):-
> gut health
> energy levels
> heart health
> blood sugar levels
> bone health
> mental health
> weight management

An avocado dressing to go with the satisfying salad.🥑
Chia seed pudding, topped with coconut yoghurt and berries. A super nutritious dessert (yes you read right, a NUTRITIOUS dessert) packed with omega 3’s, protein, and fibre. 🍧🍓🫐
Disability Initiative (DI) is a charity with amazing staff that work seamlessly together to provide care and rehabilitation to many Clients with disabilities.
