Job Description

Frontline Live-in support care worker

***Calling all Live in Carers***

Care work is some of the most critical work in our communities. This COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of the support workers. We are honoured to be contributing to the recovery and care for clients that have been impacted on by the virus, either as COVID-19+ or for those suspected as COVID-19+ clients.

We are looking for staff that are interested or experienced in COVID-19+ care work.

You will be trained and well versed in COVID-19 contraction awareness. We provide you with the resources and PPE equipment to keep you safe whilst attending to these clients.

You will be a caring, sensible and meticulous person.

Duties Include [But are not limited to]

- providing support for all aspects of personal care
- administering medication
-meal preparation
-companionship
Remuneration

Will begin at £600.00 [or more depending on the client]

*We also offer work to self employed carers
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Salary: £600.00-£750.00 per week

COVID-19 considerations:

We perform the necessary risk assessments for each placement. You will be provided with all the relevant resources to put you in good stead to attend to clients safely. We provide PPE to ensure that you are protected when providing personal care.

We are looking for caring, compassionate, honest and ambitious people to join our team, full or part time with flexible shifts to work around your family life.
We provide support to help the older and frail people in the community to continue to live indepwndently in their own homes.
Full training provided with opportunities for career development.

Shifts starts at 0645hrs to 1400hrs and 1400hrs to 2200hrs.

8hour night shifts also available

Duties includes, but not limited to:-
Personal care/bathing/dressing/oral care/nail care/shaving
Support getting in/out of bed
Continence care including catheter care
Support with medication
Meal preparation including support to or monitor while eating
Light housework

We offer excellent, competitive rate of pay
Free training
Guaranteed hours or flexi contract
Mileage paid at 45p per mile
Mostly set round

The position requires you to have full UK driving licence and the use of a vehicle
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be motivated
Good hygiene practices and smart appearance
Must be reliable

All suitable candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS Check.
No previous experience needed as full training will be provided as well as a shadow period.
