What a week for girls’ football development! ⚽💪
Last week, we were proud to partner with Pompey in the Community to host a Girls’ Football Development Day for players from Bourne Blades FC and local schools.
Hosted at John Jenkins Stadium, the day offered an incredible experience featuring:
✨ Technical and tactical sessions led by UEFA A-Licenced Portsmouth FC coaches
🔥 Attacking and defending sessions
⚽ Friendly matches against Portsmouth Girls’ teams
👀 A chance to watch the Portsmouth Women’s First Team train
🎤 Plus, an inspiring Q&A with First Team players
The day wrapped up with a lot of smiles, new skills, and unforgettable memories for everyone involved!
As an exciting add-on, players were also invited to attend the Portsmouth Women vs Crystal Palace Ladies match on Sunday 2nd November at Havant and Waterlooville FC — a brilliant way to round off a week of top-level football inspiration!
