Lakeview Care Home is one of our newest care homes, based on Lightwater Road in Lightwater, Surrey providing both beautifully designed award-winning facilities and gardens as well as the highest standard of residential and dementia care. Our care is relationship-centred, recognising the uniqueness of each individual and their needs. Residents are encouraged to keep on doing the things they’ve always loved – the things they perhaps thought they could no longer enjoy. So as part of our community, they’ll be able to cook, help out in the garden and carry on with the kind of everyday routines which make their lives theirs. What a delightful afternoon we had recently at Lakeview, as residents enjoyed a sherry tasting experience hosted by our amazing Hospitality Services Manager, Lorenzo.

💛 Children in Need at Lakeview! 💛

Our amazing Head Chef, Karolina is raising money for a charity very close to her heart, Stepping Stones DS as part of Children in Need.

Stepping Stones DS is a wonderful local charity that supports children and young people with down syndrome to reach their full potential including Karolina’s own son, Thomas who has been helped so much by their fantastic team. 💕 https://www.steppingstonesds.co.uk/

We’re also cheering on Lloyd, Stepping Stones’ Charity Ambassador, who’s taking on his own incredible Children in Need challenge. He even appeared on BBC’s The One Show! 🌟

Our recent Sensory Dementia Café on Saturday was a huge success! 💕

Residents and visitors enjoyed a relaxing morning filled with smiles, connection and some very special furry and feathered guests. We had the pleasure of hosting some adorable chickens, kittens and bunnies! 🐥🐰🐱 Thank you to Jo, our amazing Dementia Care Manager for running this lovely event.
