Hello everyone! 👋
It's been a while since i've posted my face up on here, and with quite a few new followers I thought I would say "Hello!".
It's been about four years since I started up my small business over on Etsy in 2021. At the time I was juggling working from home as an aerospace engineer whilst completing my degree - the nation-wide forced lack of socialising (except for office parties ofc.......) definitely helped me focus.
Since then I have met you, yes, you!! So many wonderful and inspirational creators, makers and independent shop owners in the small business world 💚 I grew my small business further working with wholesale clients, yoga retreats, and stocking small shops across the country. I pushed myself out my comfort zone and attended in person markets when I could and set up my own website on Shopify with my own protected domain name 🤯🥳
It's been a pleasure to see return faces popping over the years, coming back for gifts for loved ones because they adore their eye pillow THAT much. What a boost that gives me, knowing that i'm making such a difference to your lives 🥰
So what about now? Well, I still work in engineering during the day which now involves a fair amount of travel across the country (which sometimes means that lead times and deliveries slip a bit - sorry! 😅). When I'm not busy breaking things and saving pdfs, I am sewing for my wholesale and individual clients, as well as upcoming markets. I am extremely excited about a particular collaboration happening this Christmas with other Cambridge-based makers, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀👀
I've also recently taken the decision to slow down by closing my website and moving back over to Etsy - 20% OFF SALE NOW ON! Whilst it's the end of an era, i've learnt alot and it will mean I will have more time to do the other things I love too, including reading, baking, yoga and snowboarding which is a good thing ❤
