We are recruiting!
We are always looking for Family, Employment and Immigration lawyers to join our busy rota of over 90 solicitors, barristers and legal executives to assist us in delivering 30-minute advice sessions to members of the public on an occasional basis β not usually more than once a month.
We are one of the busiest University Law Clinics in the country having seen over 3500 clients since we opened our doors in 2018. Most of our service takes place via Zoom, with in-person clinics in Cambridge and Chelmsford on demand. As such, we are not limited to having lawyers based in or near Cambridge or Chelmsford and our clients contact us from all over the country and abroad.
We currently have about 50 trained student advisors volunteering. The Law Clinic offers our students invaluable experience in working with experienced lawyers, building up their confidence and professional skills and making a difference to our clients. How students benefit - Law Clinic - ARU
We have seen a marked increase in enquiries about immigration and employment law in recent months and would particularly welcome more expertise in these areas.
If you are interested in joining us or would like to more information please e-mail Sarah Calder, Law Clinic Director sarah.calder@aru.ac.uk or Caroline Allison, Associate Law Clinic Director caroline.allison@aru.ac.uk
