⚠️ Vomiting virus (norovirus) cases are increasing

Norovirus is highly contagious and spreads easily, but there are simple steps that can help protect others and stop the spread.

Do:
✔️ Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after using the toilet or changing nappies
✔️ Wash hands before preparing, serving, or eating food
✔️ Wash any clothes or bedding contaminated with vomit or diarrhoea separately on a 60°C wash
✔️ Clean toilet seats, flush handles, taps, and bathroom door handles regularly
✔️ Avoid close contact with others where possible

Don’t:
❌ Do not return to school, nursery, or work until you have been symptom-free for 48 hours
❌ Do not visit hospitals, care homes, or vulnerable people until symptom-free for 48 hours
