This beautiful smile belongs to Alesha 🌸

Alesha’s started from the virtual consultation with treatment coordinator. As a part of this type of consultation, the patient is shown a pre-recorded video by Dr Scriven who had a chance to assess photos of Alesha’s teeth 🦷address :

Alesha was happy to go ahead with purposed treatment 🤩

Patient was very compliant when it came to wearing elastics (part of carriere motion treatment) and we were done with bite correction within 7️⃣ months 🗓️ 👏

Phase 2 of Alesha’s orthodontic treatment was aligners and she was extremely good in wearing them as advised (should you look into her stats, you’d see all the green ‘Go’ notifications 🌟) 🥳

Treatment was completed in 2️⃣0️⃣ months (estimated length was 18-24months) 👏 and at the completion of her treatment, Alesha was happy for us to share her ‘before and after’ photos that may be a good motivation for those who’ve been thinking about for a while😌

Last Friday marked a very sad day - Katie’s last day at Autograph Dental😔

We feel incredibly grateful Katie has been a part of our team for nearly 2 years, she has been a wonderful colleague🌸

Katie has provided an excellent service to our patients throughout their orthodontic journey ✨

Meet Troy 👋😎

If you are one of those people who wonder why are attachments necessary for the keep reading 👇👀

During the first initial consultation Troy mentioned that he had in the past but never had (⚠️those are crucial as they help aligners to ‘grip’ on the teeth so much better and apply the pressure which is necessary for the teeth to move) and the final result just wasn’t what he expected.

Troy was keen to go ahead with the treatment (using aligners, since he was familiar with the process already) and we discussed the main concerns that we will address:

🦷
🦷 1/2 II L Molars
🦷 minimise (particularly in U1s)
🦷 prevent further

A brief summary of 1️⃣5️⃣ months of treatment:
💎 Only a few ‘in person’ visits (as Troy used throughout his treatment)
💎 IPR completed to prevent and minimise
💎 2 Refinements
💎 Elastic wear in order to correct the
💎 Possibility to have (for U1s), but left it up to Troy to decide on that
💎 will bring the end result to the next level ✨

Meet Shaun 😎👋

Shaun attended his Initial consultation back in 2022 and we had a good discussion of what are his main concerns and what are the clinical findings that we can improve:

🔹Crowding
🔹Impacted canine
🔹Recession
🔹Overjet
🔹Deep bite

Shaun’s preference was treatment, but he was aware we may need to move onto at some point if UL3 doesn’t move into the space we were about to create.
For this tooth 🦷 to be brought down, we needed to extract ULc which was done by his general dentist ✔️

In order to make it as convenient for patient as possible, we made pontics in Invisalign aligners.
⚠️Pontics - artificial tooth coloured placeholders that are fitted in the space of a missing tooth. The shade was carefully chosen so it wouldn’t stand out and would blend in nicely with the rest of the teeth.

A brief summary of his :
⭐️ IPR completed in order to minimise the risk of gum recession and black triangles.
⭐️ Lingual brace UL2/3/4 was needed for a few months (in order to achieve the best results, bringing UL3 into the right position and aligning it nicely.
⭐️ Elastics were a crucial part of Shaun’s treatment ✅
⭐️ Patient used throughout his treatment and it was an absolute blast as it helped to monitor his treatment (and especially to keep an eye on the ‘tricky’ tooth 🦷 weekly)
⭐️ completed to compliment the end result 👏

Shaun’s treatment took time but the outcome result speaks for itself ✨
