NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough will close on 31 March 2026.

From 1 April, larger Integrated Care Boards will launch across England, and we’ll become part of the new NHS Central East ICB.

This new ICB will cover Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Peterborough, Luton and Milton Keynes.

Please follow NHS Central East, the new organisation responsible for planning and overseeing health and care services in your area from 1 April.

Spring 2026 Covid Vaccination Program
COVID 19 has not gone away, and protection from previous vaccines or past infection reduces over time.
MMP will be running a spring vaccination program each year to top up protection for people at highest risk of serious illness.

Today Monday 30th March, due to unplanned GP absence and the loss of a high number of appointments, we will be unable to offer appointments today without triage through our Duty Doctor and for acute needs only.

Please do not ask to be seen as an emergency on the day, unless you have a genuine acute medical need, this prevents us from dealing with patients who really do.

You may be offered appointments with our extended access provider at an alternative location, these are an extension to our service and if you are able to travel please to consider using these appointments.

You will be asked questions by reception as this will help the duty doctor triage your case and allocate the appropriate clinical appointment safely.

You can receive helpful information, advice and treatment through your local pharmacy and on the NHS website.

Outside of our working hours you can contact NHS 111 or the walk in centre at St Neots between specific times as per the link on our website.

To avoid waiting on our queue, remember you can submit your enquiry, prescription or request for a routine appointment via the contact us button on our website.

Our patients now benefit from a new self referral breast cancer clinic. No gp appointment required if you fit the criteria this is accessed via nhs 111 online or the nhs app

The new self-referral service is available via NHS 111 online or the NHS App and means patients do not need to wait for a GP appointment and subsequent hospital referral, offering eligible patients faster access to diagnostic care.

Monkfield Medical Practice Art and Craft Group

Our next meeting is Wednesday 1st April 2026 2pm Please come along

MMP art group provides an opportunity to have a go at lots of different types of arts and crafts in a friendly and welcoming setting. Established in late 2022, the group meets fortnightly normally on a Wednesday afternoon from 2.00p.m – 4.00 p.m.
Members share and learn new skills and chat over a cup of tea. Refreshments and craft materials are free of charge.

Members have found that this friendly group is a great way to boost your wellbeing – you can learn new skills, share your own interests, meet new friends and it provides a sense of purpose and enjoyment. We have enjoyed crochet, decoupage and mirror painting to name a few skills so far.
