Today, our Business Development Manager, joined the HI Friends dementia charity group, alongside around 20 participants, including people living with dementia and their carers. The session provided valuable insight into their daily routines and challenges, as well as opportunities to collaborate and support future initiatives.
Dementia care is a key focus at Cherry Hinton Care Home, and the team remains committed to building strong community connections and supporting those affected by dementia. 💙

🎉 What a Week at Cherry Hinton Care Home! 🎉
It’s been a busy and wonderful week filled with celebrations, achievements, and community spirit here at Cherry Hinton Care Home! 💙
🖤 We honoured Black History Month, reflecting on inspiring stories, culture, and achievements.
🎃 Our residents and team had a spook-tacular time celebrating Halloween with creative costumes, decorations, and our fun Pumpkin Carving Competition – the entries were amazing!
🏆 We were proud to attend the Great British Care Awards, where we also brought back The Unpaid Carer Award, recognising those who selflessly support others every day.
🐶 And to top it all off, our much-loved Paw-sitive Café returned, bringing smiles, furry friends, and pure joy to everyone involved!
A huge thank you to our team, residents, families, and community for making this such a memorable week. 💫

We’d love for you to bring along your well-behaved furry friends to join the fun. 🐶💛 And since it’s spooky season, we’re encouraging everyone to dress up their pups in their best Halloween costumes! From little witches to ghostly ghouls, we can’t wait to see your dogs looking spook-tacular! 🦇🎩🕸️
