🧶💗 Calling all knitters, crocheters and crafty people 💗🧶

Weyman Funeral Directors are inviting our local community to help us create something truly meaningful for our Paired Hearts Project.

We are looking for pairs of handmade hearts, lovingly crafted and donated. One heart will be kept by the family, and the other will be placed with their loved one in the coffin, a simple but powerful symbol of connection, comfort and love during a difficult time.

If you knit, crochet, sew, craft or simply love making things for others, we would be so grateful for your support.
Please feel free to share this post with local craft groups, friends and family who may like to get involved.

Today, Maria and Mel were proud to donate £176 to Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, raised from our Christmas Carol Memorial Service held at Cambridge Crematorium.

You may have seen in the news recently that Arthur Rank Hospice sadly lost a substantial grant, putting some hospice spaces at risk. Thankfully, enough funding has been raised to protect those spaces for this year, but continued support is still urgently needed to secure the future in the years ahead.

Arthur Rank Hospice provides compassionate care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as vital help for their families and loved ones. Their work brings comfort, dignity, and kindness when it matters most, both in the hospice and out in the community.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped support such an important local cause 💚

We’re Hiring – Funeral Service Specialist (Arranger)

Weymans are looking for a compassionate and professional Funeral Service Specialist Level One to join our dedicated team. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone who is organised, caring, and committed to supporting families at some of the most important moments of their lives.

Role: Funeral Service Specialist Level One.
Hours: Part-time – Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm

The role involves arranging funerals with families, providing guidance and reassurance, and ensuring every service is carried out with dignity, care, and attention to detail.

If you have strong communication skills, empathy, and a calm, professional manner, we would love to hear from you. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
