If you are a CARS participant you might be invited to Cambridge to complete a full post-concussion assessment. This also includes a computerised assessment called ImPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Test), that tests your thinking.

Concussion is an important health issue in sport and this is also true for motorsport. The CARS Study is trying to understand how the symptoms of concussion change overtime, especially after racing incidents. We are doing this by investigating brain performance (for example memory and problem solving) and brain function in motorsport competitors after they are involved in a potentially concussive event.
Any motorsport competitor over 16 can participate!

If you choose to participate in CARS, you will be invited to complete additional assessments trackside and/or in Cambridge. One example is an assessment of thinking memory, using the computerised CANTAB software (Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Battery)
