What a fantastic day celebrating the opening of the Community Hub for Caroline Cares For You yesterday 🎉

The launch in Brackley was a huge success, bringing together members of the local community to mark the start of something truly special. This new hub has already shown just how valuable a welcoming, inclusive space can be for connection, support, and togetherness.

A heartfelt thank you to Brackley Town Mayor for officially opening the hub and for his powerful words during the ceremony. As he so perfectly said:

“This hub represents far more than a refurbished space. It’s a place designed to bring people together — a welcoming home for chatty cafés, dementia drop-ins, the deaf community, and anyone who simply needs a safe, friendly environment.”

We’re incredibly proud to see the positive impact this space is already having and excited for all that’s to come for Caroline Cares For You and the Brackley community 💙

We had a truly special meeting recently 💙

When we visited with DW before Christmas, one of his asks of us was to meet with the two people who started A Class Care, so he could tell them directly what a positive impact our support has had on his life.

This week, that wish became a reality. Our co-owners had the privilege of sitting down with DW and hearing, first-hand, how care, consistency, and genuine relationships have made a difference to his independence and wellbeing.

Moments like this remind us exactly why A Class Care exists. Listening to our clients, valuing their voices, and never losing sight of the people at the heart of everything we do. The Image you see is DW out for the day with one of his support workers, a key person in his support network.

❄️ Staying Safe in the Cold Weather ❄️

With temperatures dropping across the UK, it’s important we all take a little extra care during the cold spell — especially our more vulnerable loved ones 💙

Here are a few simple but important reminders to help keep safe this winter:

🧣 Keep warm – Layer up, wear hats, scarves and gloves when going outside, and try to keep your home heated to a safe temperature.

🥣 Eat well & stay hydrated – Hot meals and drinks can help keep body temperature up, and regular fluids are still important even when it’s cold.

🧊 Watch out for ice – Slips and falls are more common in freezing conditions. Take your time, wear suitable footwear and avoid icy areas where possible.

🏠 Check on others – A quick call or visit to an elderly neighbour, friend or family member can make all the difference.

🤒 Look out for illness – Cold weather can worsen health conditions. If someone seems unwell, don’t ignore the signs and seek advice early.
