In October 2025 we had 137 patients who failed to attend the appointment they had booked.

That means 137 of our appointments were 'wasted'.

That equates to 137 patients who had to wait longer for an appointment.

That equals 19 hours of our GP and Nurses time.

That costs £4,110.00 - just at Red Lion Surgery!

Cancel online via our telephone system, website or the NHS App.
Set reminders on your phone or calendar so you don’t forget.

If you’re a carer, please let us know so that we can add this to your medical records. We can then be sure to offer you the care and support that you need.

Caring for others is vital — but so is caring for yourself.
