Congratulations to the team at our newest crematorium, East Lothian in Musselburgh near Edinburgh, which opened at the end of October.

Designed to complement the local surroundings, our crematorium is set within beautifully landscaped gardens. Families can choose from a range of memorials for their loved ones, including living memorials or our engraved Mulberry Tree.

East Lothian Crematorium is also equipped with features to create a personalised tribute, including a full-sized canvas wall, creating a themed backdrop for displaying your loved one's photo during the service.

FAQ: How long does it take to plan a funeral?

With Distinct Cremations, once you notify us you'll be assigned a dedicated funeral arranger from our caring and expert team. It will take approximately 2-4 weeks to arrange a funeral, which includes completing the necessary paperwork and the cremation itself.

Once the cremation takes place, you can choose to have the ashes scattered in the beautiful gardens of remembrance at the crematorium or personally hand-delivered to you by our team within 14 days.
