You may have noticed a couple of reels coming out, that’s because finally we’ve got the business on Instagram () so content will be shared. Not used this platform for a while due to changes in work and the chaos of being dance/gym parents but we are now picking up our services again in the local region. Keep an eye out. Will update services etc in the coming days.

That’s how we do a Friday night session at Birches Valley Gymnastics Club…..10 x 2 min High Intensity Blocks, 4 loaded, 6 bodyweight, before the comp squads got into their rotations!! Full body workout, gym tunes blaring to get us all through it. Great intent, effort and determination from all the gymnasts, they’ve come a long way in the last few months and I love working for such an amazing club!

Upper limb/abdominal tabata added to the YouTube channel......based on work with the young gymnasts from Birches Valley Gymnastics Club here in Cannock I’ve put together a bodyweight circuit for them whilst not training.....anyone can have a go.....you can also add weight/load to the circuit however you feel based on your training experience.....4 x 4 minute blocks so you can do them all or just do the section you wish to focus on (repeatedly if you like!!).....all exercises are demonstrated in advance (during your rest periods) so anyone can join in! Enjoy!

Based on work I’ve done with the gymnasts at Birches Valley Gymnastics Club this session is mainly upper limb/shoulder stability/abdominal exercises in a tab...

Lower limb bodyweight tabata type session now on YouTube.....4x4 minute blocks with a finisher drill at the end.....all fully explained, demonstrated and timed for you in the video....no equipment required (unless you want to add load) and can be done at home....have a go, enjoy, share (if you like) and happy to receive feedback and requests for exercise/rehab/drills for future videos.

4 x 4 minute blocks of lower limb Bodyweight exercise with an added split squat finisher. A combination of landing/planting/decels with posterior chain muscu...

First clinic underway

First patients at Eden Yoga Cannock today (after going in to WFC to see injured players first) and can’t wait to get going. Thanks for all the staff there in helping get this underway. Will also be running a clinic from Lichfield Eden Yoga and have booked in patients for the first clinic on 11th December.

It’s a busy and costly time of the year for everyone but if you do need some help to get rid of the stresses and strains of life, to deal with pain or injury, or to improve your strength and fitness as you head into 2020 then do get in touch.

Haven’t been keeping up to date recently with Facebook posts etc but we are back up and running.....
....it’s been a busy year so far, still working full time as Head of Medical/Lead Therapist at Walsall FC.....but MAC Physiotherapy Ltd is starting to also develop further.

I’ve been working with Birches Valley Gymnastics Club since July helping with their therapy and conditioning needs. So rewarding to see the squads of different ages and abilities enjoying and taking on new conditioning regimes. I’ve had fun delivering it and will continue to do so.....the club keeps going from strength to strength under the guide of some amazing coaches and I’m happy to play my small part in helping the gymnasts improve and learn more about their bodies, what they can do and what is required to keep getting stronger.

I’m also now happy to announce a working relationship with Eden Hot Yoga where I will be starting to deliver services initially out of their Cannock studio. It’s an exciting opportunity to use yet another amazing facility and offer my therapy services to their client base from Cannock, Stafford, Lichfield and Wolverhampton. I’m also looking to take their teaching training course in 2020 to offer yoga alongside my physio and sports therapy, massage, rehab and conditioning services.
