Waterlily Therapies

Waterlily Therapies A body-mind therapist who loves holistic therapy, organic health and natural wellbeing on a mission It's time to feel better, look better and live better.

I believe that your mind, body and spirit should be in balance and that we only get one body, so let's look after it and enjoy it. Whether this is a massage to reduce stress and tension in the body, a reflexology session to de-stress after a long day at work, or an Indian head massage to ease tension headaches, my top priority has always been to bring a safe experience of healing and rejuvenation to my clients. You can also work with me to create healing self-care habits, creating wellness wherever and whenever. In between treatments, discover reflexology, aromatherapy, coaching and other easy strategies you can use at home via my self-care community. I also work with NYR Organics as I love their ethical and sustainable values. As therapists, we have many choices when it comes to the products we buy, but I love their belief that outer beauty and inner health should be in perfect balance. I think it fits perfectly with body-mind therapies offered at Waterlily Therapies. The Power of Healing is in Your Hands.

Reflexology isn’t just relaxing — it helps calm your nervous system, balance your energy, and release the tension your body’s been quietly holding on to. 🌿

Each reflex point on your feet connects to different parts of your body, so when you unwind through touch, your whole system starts to rebalance.

It’s a simple, natural way to press pause — from the ground up. 💜

💆‍♀️ When life feels a little too much… what’s your go-to self-care ritual?

We all have those moments when everything feels overwhelming — the to-do list grows, energy dips, and even small tasks feel heavy. That’s usually your body whispering, “Slow down, I need a moment.” 🌿

For me, it’s a quiet afternoon with a good book and a cup of herbal tea, a warm massage or afternoon nap, or sinking into the stillness of a spa day — space to reset and breathe again. ✨

But I’d love to know yours!
What helps you find calm when the world feels loud? 🕯
Share your favourite self-care rituals in the comments — your ideas might just inspire someone else to slow down today. 💜

POV: When your massage ends and you remember real life still exists 😭
Why can’t we just stay on the massage bed forever? 💜

Tight shoulders, busy mind, puffy face, restless sleep — these are signs of systems under strain.

The good news? You can help your body reset.
Massage, reflexology, Reiki, and facial therapies all support:
🌿 nervous system regulation
🌿 lymphatic flow
🌿 tension release
🌿 clearer, calmer energy

Sometimes feeling better isn’t complicated — it’s hands-on, holistic, and deeply human. 💆‍♀️✨

🍂 5 Simple Ways to Prepare Your Mind, Body & Energy for Winter

As the days grow shorter, it’s time to slow down, reset, and nurture yourself before winter truly sets in. Here are a few small rituals to help you feel grounded and calm as the season changes:

1️⃣ Air out your home – let old energy move on before you settle into your cosy cocoon.
2️⃣ Buy new socks – warm feet = calmer nervous system. (It’s science and self-care!) 🧦
3️⃣ Write yourself a letter to open in spring – a gentle reminder of what’s worth holding onto through the winter.
4️⃣ Set a nightly reminder: “Rest is not a crime.” Guilt-free rest is the ultimate rebellion. 😴
5️⃣ Create your winter ritual – tea, music, candles, journaling, or a soothing reflexology session to bring you back to yourself.

➡ Bonus tip: Wash your scarves and hats - There’s something soothing about putting on fresh, soft fabrics that smell like home. It’s a little act of care that resets your senses.

Because winter isn’t about survival — it’s about returning to stillness. 🌙

Group 7 is where the calm souls, crystal lovers, and energy protectors hang out. 💜

You’re the ones who book your massage before you burn out, choose grounding over chaos, and believe rest is the real flex.

Last week, I was attuned as a Reiki Master — a truly special step on my personal and professional wellness journey. 🌿

This new chapter feels both humbling and expansive. Before I share Reiki on a deeper level — and possibly begin teaching in the new year — I’m taking some time to honour the lineage, clear my own energy, and deepen my personal practice.

Reiki is such a beautiful reminder that healing begins with stillness and self-connection. 💫

I can’t wait to share more about what’s coming, but for now… it’s time to rest, integrate, and let the energy flow.

Life feels so much lighter when we make space for what we love — peace, connection, stillness, and self-care.

Whether it’s through massage, reflexology, reiki, or a calming facial, my treatments are designed to help you pause, reset, and come back to yourself. ✨

You don’t have to wait for burnout to rest.
You’re allowed to stop, breathe, and feel good — right now. 💆‍♀️💫

We all go through winters — not just the ones marked on the calendar, but the personal ones too. Those moments when life feels slower, quieter, and a little uncertain. 🌿

I recently read Wintering by Katherine May, and it was the reminder I didn’t know I needed.
It’s not just about hibernation or staying cosy — it’s about honouring the natural ebb and flow of life, finding beauty in stillness, and allowing rest to be a form of healing.

Katherine May shares her story of burnout and rediscovery with such honesty and warmth, weaving in lessons from nature, mythology, and the power of retreat. It’s a beautifully written invitation to soften your pace and embrace the season you’re in — whatever that looks like.

If you’re craving a slower rhythm, more time for reflection, or simply a gentle reminder that it’s okay to rest… this might be the perfect autumn read for you. 🍵✨
