GROUP EXERCISE PARTICIPANTS at Mindful Wellness Warrior

One of my long standing class members messaged me recently (you know who you are) to say she couldn’t make class because she was busy getting the house ready for Christmas guests..
“It’s fine though, I’ll get my exercise doing the housework.”

And it really got me thinking.

If someone who’s been coming to my classes for over 23 years still sees movement in that way, it’s no wonder so many people dip in and out of group exercise without ever fully committing.

Because group exercise isn’t just about burning calories or ticking a box.

It’s about:
✨ Stepping out of the house and changing your scenery
✨ Prioritising YOU for one hour
✨ Moving your body in a way it actually needs
✨ Training your brain by learning and remembering choreography
✨ Building strength with resistance bands and weights to support healthy bones
✨ Boosting your mental wellbeing through music, laughter and movement

But it goes deeper than that.

Group exercise becomes a second family.
It’s the support, the laughter, the camaraderie.
The endorphins that lift your mood.
The feeling of being held by a group and an instructor who genuinely cares.

Yes, it’s easy to stay on the sofa.
But I’ve never once had someone finish a class and say, “I wish I hadn’t come.”

You always feel better for showing up.

And here’s the honest bit, turning up now and then won’t give you the results you’re hoping for. Consistency is where the magic happens. That’s where confidence grows, fitness improves, energy lifts and wellbeing changes.

Sometimes I’ll nudge, remind or gently nag you to come, not because I want numbers in a class, but because I care. Because I know what happens when you show up, even on the days you don’t feel like it.

Group exercise instructors don’t just offer fitness.
That’s only scratching the surface.

If you’re ready to commit to you, I am here, ready to welcome you, support you and move through life with you 💗 Kirsty 💗

As we move towards the end of the year, many of us are carrying far more than we realise in way of tension, stress, old patterns, and emotions that the body has quietly been holding onto.

TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises) is a gentle, body-based practice that supports the nervous system to release stored tension and return to a greater sense of ease and balance.

While one session can be deeply calming, real change happens when we commit to ourselves over time. TRE isn’t a one-off fix, it’s an investment in your body, your wellbeing, and your long-term health. So if you have only made it to one session and liked it but haven’t been self practicing, or you have wanted to join, but haven’t found the time.. ask yourself why? Why do you want to hold on to it anymore? Could life be different for you, if you let go of it all? Imagine how freeing that would be.

If 2026 is the year you want to feel more grounded, lighter, and free in your body, I’d love to support you. New sessions will be running in January, February and March, offering space to truly settle, release, and reconnect.

Self-care only works when we schedule it and make it a priority, because if we don’t create that time for ourselves, what are we left with?

Message me to book the final space for this Sunday coming, or to find out more about joining us in the new year 🌿 Mindful Wellness Warrior
