💖What does this mean?
It means that I am qualified to Massage Clients that have Cancer. Whether Clients have recently been diagnosed, going through treatment or just recently been cleared.
💖 How is Oncology Massage different to other Massages?
Oncology Massage is a gentle touch massage tailored to Cancer Clients. Each Massage Treatment is different and tailored to each individual. Only a carrier oil is used meaning one simple ingredient which will not interfere with any medications or Treatment being received to help with Cancer Symptoms.
💖 Do I need Doctors consent before I book my Massage?
No, as I am trained and qualified with Jennifer Young Training School who specialise in Oncology Treatments. I have also done my level 1 of Cancer Awareness. I still have access to all my course notes and can contact the Training centre at any time if needed.
💖 Are you Insured?
Yes, I am Insured with the Guild of Holistic Therapists
💖 Do I have to have a full Massage? What if I can't lay on my front/back?
All Oncology Massages are tailored to you and what you need! Whether its just your legs you want massaged or you cannot lay on your back, I can adapt the treatment so your laying on your side. I can add supports in where requires to keep you comfy and supported during the massage.
💖 What do I do if I feel uncomfortable or in pain during my treatment?
Just tell me and we will end the treatment. It's okay, your body is going through alot.
