Well if it is not knife crime, now we have dangerous dogs attacking the public. Fortunately we stock trauma dressings which have haemostatic qualities to stem that blood flow from a deep gash or dog bite. A useful addition to all first aid kits.

Soon to come is CF40, Agenda21, B-Corps (with changes to the Companies Act 2006) and of course the Energy Act going through Parliament this week. Will it ever stop?. Will business manages have time to breath? To cap it all will ULEZ come to Canterbury?

The increase in the carrying of knives and other weapons is causing some employers to add further items to their standard first aid kits. These could be tourniquets, compressive and haemostatic dressings as well as chest seals. They are all designed to treat body puncture wounds and minimise blood loss. Employers serving customers in restaurants, cafes and public houses in particular may wish to contact us as we can supply all of the necessary dressings for those invasive wounds.

We now stock a full range of haemostatic dressings including chest seals for those nasty body puncture wounds. These include Israeli bandages, haemostatic gauze, tourniquets and blood stopping compressive pressure dressings. Bespoke Trauma kits available.

We have added the Philips range of defibrillators including replacement parts to our stock range. The HS1, FRx. Fr2 and FR3 are now available.

We now have available our Corona-virus First Aider Protection pack.
The pack can be added to any first aid box, bag or wall cabinet.
The pack contains all that a first aider needs to protect themselves in a treatment area.
Extra items can be added to suit the first aider preferences.
All items can be sold separately.

Another week passes just as quickly as the rest this year. High demand for our new PPE kits for first aider protection.
A bit shocked over the current price of Nitrile gloves but hopefully prices will stabilise in the new year.

We have had a very busy week as we have been adding a First Aider PPE pack to our workplace and HSE standard boxes. This is in addition to the normal BS compliance standard and should offer the first aider some protection when treating a patient.
