A woman from Tamil Nadu is running to be president of the United States of America.
Her name is Kamala.
In the Detroit Institute of Arts’ gallery of Indian and Southeast Asian art are Yogini sculptures from a vanished temple in Tamil Nadu. It is suggested that these Tamil Yogini sculptures began their lives together more than a millennia ago in a temple in Kaveripakkum, a small village near Kanchipuram in Tamilnadu.

According to an inscription dated to 1323 CE (Vikram Samvat 1383), the temple was built by the Kachchhapaghata king Devapala (r. c. 1055 – 1075). It is said that the temple was the venue of providing education in astrology and mathematics based on the transit of the Sun.
The Kachchhapaghata ruled between 10th and 12th centuries. Their territory included north-western parts of Central India present day Madhya Pradesh.
The Sanskrit word Kachchhapa-ghata (कच्छपघात) literally means "tortoise killer".
The Kachchhapaghata dynasty - devoted themselves to Shiva and Shaivism.
The Kachchhapaghata dynasty were thought to be weakened by Muslim invaders and lost their dynasty , what does Yoginis temple know now about what yoginis should learn about invaders ?
