There have been confirmed cases of meningitis in the Canterbury area, and we know this is causing understandable concern locally. Our thoughts are with everyone affected and with those supporting the response.
We’re receiving a high number of enquiries about private MenB vaccinations. At the moment, we’re unable to obtain private vaccine stock, as supplies are being prioritised for the NHS. We’ll update our website if this changes.

We’ll continue to monitor updates from public health teams.
If you or someone else develops symptoms such as fever, severe headache, stiff neck, vomiting, or a rash that doesn’t fade under pressure, please seek urgent medical help.
