National Pathology Week at Chaucer Hospital – What a Week!

This past week, our incredible Pathology team partnered with TDL to celebrate the vital role pathology plays in patient care.

Here’s what we got up to:

- Engaging talks with TDL on Group & Save blood testing and blood grouping
- Fun activities including word searches, crosswords, and interactive games
- Lab tours where staff explored behind the scenes and asked questions
- Challenges like “Guess the (marshmallows) Blood in the Jug,” “Spin the Petri Dish,” aka Spin to Win prizes, and even taking a Cell-fie!
- Along with other quizzes, pathology facts, and plenty of prizes

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the week such a success!

“All it takes is a simple blood test” - Mr Ben Eddy, Consultant Urological Surgeon at Chaucer Hospital.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK - yet many men remain unaware of the risks and the importance of early detection. That’s why Chaucer Hospital is proud to partner with Canterbury Rugby Football Club to raise awareness and offer PSA testing to men aged 40 and over.

We offer fixed price packages for a number of procedures, with flexible payment options to make them more affordable.
