🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

From the 1st April 2026, following an open tender process commissioned by the Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC), KENT SEXUAL ASSAULT AND ABUSE SERVICE (KSAAS)—formerly EAST KENT R**E CRISIS CENTRE (EKRCC)—has been appointed to deliver both the countywide ISVA Service and the Sexual Violence Ther**eutic Service.

These two specialist services will be delivered across Kent and Medway provisions, ensuring accessible, trauma‑informed support for anyone affected by sexual violence.
We are honoured to have been entrusted with this vital work and look forward to continuing to deliver high‑quality support to survivors throughout the county.

This marks an important milestone for us and reflects the hard work, dedication, and expertise of our team.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey, we are excited to be expanding our support for survivors across Kent & Medway, working closely with the OPCC, Kent Police and the NHS, to reach those who need us most.

Today is White Ribbon Day 2025 and marks the start the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence a global campaign to end violence against women and girls.

Every choice, every conversation, and every moment of accountability helps to create safer spaces for women and girls. Start small, here’s how you can help: call out or challenge any harmful attitudes or behaviours that dehumanise women, model respect, safety and healthy behaviours or speak up your voice matters.

Small actions can create big change. Together, we can create a culture where safety, respect and equality are the norm.

Don't forget about our our Chai & Chat Group, open to all Women at our Margate Hub. It takes place every Friday, from 10am - 11.30am and is facilitated by trained members of EKRCC staff who speak English, French, Arabic and Bengali (Sylheti dialect).
