🌼 Capel Memorial Hall Open Door Fridays!🌼

We know that staying socially connected and having a warm, welcoming space to spend time in can make a real difference to wellbeing, particularly as during the winter months.

Capel Memorial Hall will be hosting *Open Door Fridays* from 7th November, every Friday between 10am and 3pm. This free, community-led drop-in offers:

• A friendly, comfortable space
• Free beverages
• Newspapers, magazines and board games
• A quiet room for work, study or reflection
• Free Wi-Fi
• A chance to chat

Whether you’re working from home, picking up the kids, or just fancy a change of scenery, drop in and say hello!

From September 2025, cervical screening results are going digital!

✅ Negative results will now be sent securely through the NHS App, with a notification appearing on your device. If the result isn’t viewed within 72 hours, a letter will be sent as a backup.

✅ Notifications will appear in the NHS App, and if app notifications are off, you may also get an SMS reminder to check your result.

📬 Abnormal results will continue to be sent by post.

9 out of 10 invitations and reminders are already digital — this is the next step to make getting your results quicker and easier! 💻📲

Race For Life 2025

It was a typical British summer morning… grey skies, torrential rain, and absolutely no chance of staying dry! Soaked to the skin but filled with determination, we did it raising over £500! 🎗️
