A lovely, warm concert afternoon with one of our favourite shows, featuring the music of Mark & Louise. Residents were dancing, singing along, and fully engaged throughout, with so many smiling faces around the room. Their repertoire always brings something for everyone, creating such a great atmosphere.

A big thank you to Mark & Louise for their visit, we always enjoy having you with us and look forward to seeing you again soon!

We started the day with a resident meeting to plan out our gardening club next steps. Together, we discussed the flowers we would like to plant, the colours we want to see bloom, and how we can make the most of our vegetable patch, including what we hope to grow and harvest in the months ahead.

After the meeting, we got straight to work sowing a variety of herb and vegetable seeds, while also looking into the best timings and care for each one. Everyone pitched in, we organised roles, and by the end of it all, we had a solid plan in place.

It was a busy but really rewarding day, made even better by the lovely sunshine. Keep an eye on our garden over the next couple of months as it starts coming back to life 🌱

Sunshine, strikes, and seaside views ☀️🎳🌊

We enjoyed a great game at Hollywood Bowl UK in the Dragon Centre, with lots of laughs and a bit of friendly competition. Afterwards, we headed for a delicious brunch before taking a gentle stroll around Cardiff Bay, making the most of the beautiful sunshine and stunning views, and of course, we couldn’t resist picking up some yummy fudge as a sweet treat! From Great British Fudge Company. Everything just came together so nicely good company, relaxed moments, and plenty to smile about along the way. A big thank you to our bus driver John from VEST Community Transport for being part of such a special outing.

We’ll definitely be talking about this one for a while! ✨

Today’s baking club got a festive twist with our Easter treat 🥕
We dipped fresh strawberries 🍓 in orange chocolate and placed them on crushed Oreo crumbs, turning them into the cutest “carrots in soil.” Everyone had a great time getting hands-on with dipping and crushing, but the real highlight was tasting them at the end. They were absolutely scrumptious!
Such a simple idea, but so much joy in making (and eating) them together 🐰
