Congratulations to everyone who conquered the Cardiff Half Marathon today! 💪

If your feet are now paying the price with painful blisters, don’t panic — it’s incredibly common after long runs. Here are our Top 3 Tips to Manage Blisters 👣

💧 1. Don’t pop it (if you can help it!)
The fluid inside protects new skin forming underneath. Keep the area clean and covered instead.

🩹 2. Use sterile dressings
Hydrocolloid or blister plasters cushion the area, reduce friction, and speed up healing.

👟 3. Let your feet breathe (when you can)
Change damp socks quickly and wear breathable shoes or sandals post-race to prevent infection.

If your blister is painful, large, or looks red and inflamed, it’s best to get it checked — infection can set in quickly after long-distance running.

Who Are We Looking For: We are looking for a passionate podiatrist who is not merely seeking a job, but a fulfilling career. Our podiatrist are given the opportunity and support to treat every foot type and condition from simple cases to advanced care.
You will work closely with our team of 5 friendly and highly experienced practitioners. In this role, you will take on the responsibility of assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment for our patients, in accordance with your current level of training and confidence.
For the areas in which you're keen to enhance your knowledge and skills, we provide one-to-one training with you. Our goal is to expand your scope of practice, thereby ensuring your professional development as well as providing the highest level of care to our patients.

Requirements:
A passion for podiatry.
Bachelor's degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to every patient, every time!
Benefits:
Starting Salary: £29,180.00+ per annum
Holiday Pay: 28 days / year
