A cyst (epidermoid cyst, sebaceous cyst), is a collection of oil & shed skin cells, from the lining of the oil gland located in our skin. This happens when it's opening (skin pore) is blocked. We can excise it under local anesthesia. The reason to remove it is that if left untreated they can grow in size, or get infected and become an abscess. The cost of the operation starts from £595 and can be more depending on complexity of condition.
