Today we celebrating Florence's 106th Birthday. She was surprised by a visit by Madam Mayor Cllr Emma Richards, who presented Florence with a bouquet of flowers and joined us in singing "🎼Happy Birthday" when we brought in her cake. Florence also received a card from King Charles III.

So staff today put on "A Christmas Carol" this afternoon for the residents to enjoy, and some with their families.
Everyone involved whether staff or volunteers all did an amazing job, bringing the story and characters to life.

We recently enjoyed our 2nd Garden Centre trip. This time we went to Cardiff Garden Centre in St Mellons.
All we can say is WOW!! What a lovely place, the residents & staff had a lovely time seeing such wonderful Christmas displays as well as seeing the biggest garden spade seen, (it must belong to the giant from Jack & The Beanstalk)
Everyone then enjoyed lovely food in their cafe.
A place worth returning to for sure.
