Hi everyone, as you will know Chris Rocke our Maintenance operative has been making Christmas tree's for our upcoming fayre on Saturday 6th December. In the post we have pictures of trees available, which you can pre-order now by emailing Dawn at dawn.parsons@mha.org.uk. They can then be picked up on the day of fayre. We also have a medium single layer Christmas tree to bid on in the silent auction on the day, where the highest bid over starting bid wins.

Some had a go at I'm a celebrity challenge, seeing who could find the most chicken feet (sweets in jelly) and then trying to find 10 stars mixed with other shapes in beans. With all the stars found, we looked at the letters on the back, to see if they could work out what State of Australia it spelt.
For taking part, they received a certificate and small pack of biscuits.

There is only 10 DAYS!!! Until our Christmas Fayre & Santa's Grotto.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at MHA Morel Court.
There will be plenty of stalls to kick start you getting into the festive spirit.
Please remember it's a £1 entry to adults. The Santa's Grotto is £4 a child to meet the jolly man himself, have a photo and gift.
There is still plenty of time for anyone who would like to donate something to our stalls, from bottles, sweets, decorations or a prize for our raffle. Just drop them off by Thursday 4th December. Thank you.
Dawn is looking forward to welcoming you in 3 days for the rag wreath workshop.
We appreciate the support of everyone, who is able to help us with our fayre and other things being done for the residents Christmas 2025. As all money raised, goes to the residents amenities fund, which allows them to live later life well.

Christmas is coming......
We had some help today, where residents helped to make some Christmas decorations we can sell at our Christmas Fayre & Santa's Grotto next week on Saturday 6th December. These, along with other items will be available at our many stalls, to kick start you getting into the festive spirit.
Just a reminder, cash only event, £1 entry fee for adults and our Santa's Grotto is £4 per child, they get to meet Santa, have a photo and receive a gift.
All money raised, goes to the residents amenities fund.

Something different is happening this year!!
As many know, we normally do Christmas candlelight dinners, for relatives to come along too to make memories with your loved ones.
This year we are doing something different, by having a "Mistletoe & Teacups Afternoon Tea with prosecco".
If you are interested in this it is on Thursday 4th December at 3pm. It is £10 cost for family (residents free).

We had Rise in this week for an hour of afternoon sporting fun, including rugby and football, with sporting songs and a sports quiz thrown in for equal measure. They were placed in two teams. Team Pat on one side, while the other was Team Bev. They all battled it out that there was only 1 point in it, which declared Team Pat the winners 🏆 and Pat got player of the match. 🏆🌟
