Our staff are our main asset at Gofal Cymru Care. They do a fantastic job supporting all of our residents and we had reason to celebrate one member in particular this week. Denise Radford, who is the Deputy Manager at Timothy House and Rees House has been with us for 10 years.

Denise started as a Support Worker and soon proved her worth, moving up the ranks and proving an inspiration not just to those at Timothy House where she does the majority of her work, but across the company.

As well as really changing the lives of those we support at Timothy House she is always willing to help out when needed elsewhere - and her and her team put on some great parties!

Thank you Denise - your continued input is very much appreciated.

Gofal Cymru Care Ltd is a leading provider of residential care and support services across Cardiff and the Vale. We’re on the lookout for a passionate, experienced, and strategic leader to join us as a Responsible Individual (RI) for our children’s residential services.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll oversee multiple homes, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with Registered Managers and care teams to deliver trauma-informed, child-centred support that transforms lives.

What we’re looking for:
- Proven leadership in CIW-registered children’s residential care
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Level 5 Diploma & Welsh language skills (desirable)
