Let them talk.
Let them build stories about you from fragments they never fully understood, from moments they were never truly part of, from versions of you that no longer exist. Let them misunderstand your silence, question your choices, and label your growth as something it was never meant to be.
Because the truth is, people will always speak from the limits of their own perception. They will measure you using rulers that were never designed for your journey. They will judge chapters they didn’t read, battles they didn’t fight, and transformations they didn’t witness.
But none of that defines you.
You are not the echo of someone else’s opinion. You are not the sum of whispered conversations or sideways glances. You are the quiet strength it took to keep going when no one clapped. You are the courage it took to choose yourself, even when it made you misunderstood.
So let them talk.
