Evenings- I work until 6pm on Tues and Thurs (these Book up quickly! So you may need to skip ahead to the next month)

You can book up to 36 hours in advance

I operate a 24 hour cancellation policy which you will be asked to agree to on booking

Contact me directly for last minute availability, but if out of hours, I charge a £40 additional emergency fee. PLEASE don't text me earlier or later than you would your gynaecologist; I am human and do need sleep. 9am-5pm Mon to Fri is polite!

I take 3-4 bookings daily (except Mon and Fri where I force myself to catch up on admin)

I throw in a weekend if I'm trying to avoid kids parties! Or sport pitches! Luckily my kids are getting easier to spend time with!

Mastitis Guidelines (New):

Avoid heat,
Avoid massage (other than extremely light superficial stuff),
Avoid extra pumping to 'empty' breasts
Continue to feed baby responsively on both sides
Cold compresses reduce inflammation & swelling (and can help with pain relief)

Take it easy, go back to basics, snuggle up with baby ☺️

If it gets worse, doesn't improve or you need support, get in touch with your healthcare provider.

National Breastfeeding Helpline is also open 24/7, run by trained volunteers and free to access 🙌

One of my biggest enquiries from C-Section assessment appointments is:

'How do I get rid of my over-hang'?

There's lots that can done to promote healing and improve the appearance of a c-section over-hang (check out our New Blog post).

With a focus on patient education, a C-section Appointment at Melyn includes:

A full assessment of your scar,
Examination of your core stability and coordination,
Diastasis Recti check
Examination of your pelvis, spine/back and hips
Treatment of your incision site using specialist massage and cross friction
Myofascial release
Lymphatic drainage techniques
Core rehab
Follow up email to check your progress
