Happy Thursday everyone 🌿

It’s been a lovely week so far at Ty Llandaff, with lots of special moments shared together and more still to come.

Our residents have been enjoying some light exercise, spending time painting seashells, making the most of the sunshine at an outdoor Comedy Club, and listening to the classic stylings of the talented Jack Chandrinos!

What a sweet treat we enjoyed this afternoon at Ty Llandaff! 🍬 Our residents were delighted by a wonderful live performance from Rhiannon of Mini Concerts, celebrating the timeless songs of Julie Andrews in ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’. The music brought back cherished childhood memories for many, filling the room with smiles, singalongs, and a lovely sense of nostalgia.

Everyone's been barking to know the secret! 🐾

In aid of our fundraising for Make-A-Wish UK, £1 donations have been made to guess out of 50 possible names for this adorable puppy who belongs to our very own kitchen assistant, Cainey.

With most of the names crossed off, we can now reveal the name of Ty Llandaff's new fuzzy friend is... 🥁🥁🥁

We've already been Hopping for Easter this week here at Ty Llandaff! 🥚🐥

Our residents have been busy making lots of festive decorations for display around the home, including painted eggs, Easter wreaths and basket centrepieces - all of the pieces being uniquely colourful and imaginative.

This morning, residents enjoyed an immersive armchair travel experience through the beautiful Brecon Beacons in our luxury theatre space.

This afternoon brought out everyone’s creative side, with a colourful Art Club session filled with collage-making 🎨

Happy Saint Patrick's Day from all of us at Ty Llandaff!

🍀 St Patrick’s Day Celebrations 🍀

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating St Patrick’s Day by baking traditional Irish soda bread together. The home was filled with delicious aromas and plenty of smiles as everyone got involved.

Later, the freshly baked bread was enjoyed at mealtime alongside a hearty Irish stew, making for a warm and joyful celebration shared by residents and staff alike. 🇮🇪🍞
