Scientists have discovered that when our mood is low, our peripheral vision shrinks. Yes, that's right! What we physically see with our eyes reduces along with our mood. So if you feel a bit down, just pause and reflect on the fact that change is always happening and could be closer than you think.

If you are really struggling, reach out. People genuinely want to help, and help may be closer than you realise.

NEW classes starting in February! Tuesday mornings @ The Old School, Llantwit Major

Breathwork & meditation classes: - suitable for all levels of experience, come and learn simple techniques to reduce stress quickly as well as to manage long term stress.

Tai Chi Shibashi classes: 90-minute classes using movements proven to help you build strength, balance & flexibility and which support recovery from illness and injury.

Book separately or combine both classes to create a morning retreat - but hurry...only two places remaining in the Shibashi classes.

I have been teaching these techniques for many years now and over the last three decades I have immersed myself more & more in the science behind the practices. People ask me why I do what I do and the answer is simple - because it works! I know it works for me, I've seen it work for my clients and participants, & the science backs it. I recorded this for tiktok (The Mindful Zebra) but the message is the same whether we have EDS, a different chronic condition, or any type of pain. Pain = stress = more pain.
