Scott keeps telling me that we need to share our personal stories more ..this was my moment of fame in the local newspaper in 1991. My mum and dad kept this cutting over 30 years 🥹. Back in the day, it was almost unheard of for women to do engineering… there was only 2 women on our course! My natural inquisitive and wanting to know how stuff works has really helped us build CnG. As I’ve learned over the years , I can be a bit of a control freak 😬, so passing my crystal experience and knowledge to Scott is not easy… but he’s doing really well and I’m excited for the future 😊

Been to a crystal show today , we have found some real beauties from Sugilite hummingbirds, Cobaltoan calcite and chrysocolla to this specimen from our local colliery that closed in 1986. My dad and grandfather worked there and it was a huge part of our community. Although it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing specimen , i love it . A nostalgic piece to add to my collection 🙂.

We have some exciting news to share!

The first thing to mention is that black friday is just around the corner so you know what that means...sale sale sale! during this period we have taken up to 50% off of our crystals. What's not to love??😍😍

Secondly, this weekend we will be visiting a crystal show in Oxford. We are incredibly excited for this trip and we can't wait to see so many amazing crystals in one place. There will be no Fun Fact Friday this week😢 however do not despair because we will be making a video of the trip so that all of you can come along for the ride. I think it's about time we get into Star of the Post. All of these crystals are incredible but these are my personal favourites.

🥇Spot number one easily belongs to the Lapis Lazuli palmstone. The blue is so clear and vibrant. Therefore it has to take number one spot. 💙

🥈Taking second place is the Uv reactive Rhodochrosite with Fluorite cubes. I love the details of this specimen, each time you look at it you see something new!

🥉Finally in third place is the double sided Quartz specimen with Limonite. You get two crystals in one how great is that?? 💛

Half way through the week and It's time for a new edition of Star of the Post.😊All of the crystals in this weeks post are all incredible in their own unique way. These are my personal favourites, but we want to know what your favourites are!

🥇This weeks winner and Star of the Post is the Nine Tailed Fox made of Quartz. The craftmanship to carve this item is absolutely remarkable. It's white and yellow colour confirms it's place at the top. 🤍💛

🥈In second place is the Quartz pendent. The scene inside of it is truly beautiful, and I think it would make a perfect gift for that special someone in your life.🧡

🥉Whilst this crystal comes third, it has a special place in my heart. I adore this Star Rose Quartz pig, it has so much character!

Hello crystal community...I can't believe it's Monday already!😂

Let me introduce you to the star studded podium of this weeks Star of the Post.

🥇This weeks Star of the post is the rare Rosewood Calcite Specimen. It's beat the competition due to its rarity and incredibly colour. You could take home this weeks Star of the Post for £175.

🥈Coming in a close second are the Dioptase specimens all the way from Congo. They earned second due to their vibrant green colour.💚

🥉In third place is this Uv reactive Rams Horn Selenite specimen. Everybody loves a Uv Reactive Specimen and so do we!
