A slightly different appointment today ... although still physio based, the priority was getting this lovely boy used to a ramp to help him in and out of the car 🚗🐾

This was a priority as his owner hasn't been able to get him in the car since christmas and he is due a vet check 🩺❤️

We started with the ramp flat on the ground and built up positive association with this. Reintroduced his harness and I demonstrated how to handle and support this lovely boy up and down the ramp so he feels more confident.

I would highly recommend teaching your dogs whilst they're young to use a ramp comfortably and confidently so if you ever need it when they're older there will be less stress involved for you and them. I am so proud of how well Gruff and his owner did today ❤️

Some of the lovely patients seen this month ❤️ I have been terrible at taking photos of your lovely pets recently but hope you enjoy these four lovely faces 🐾

It's been a busy month treating a wide range of conditions, the second photo shows the various cases I've seen this month.

Physiotherapy can help improve strength, overall mobility, joint range of motion and supporting your pets to stay active for longer. I often use laser therapy to support my treatment as it's a non invasive option that reduces pain and inflammation.

Having laser therapy is clearly very tiring work 🩵 I am so pleased with his recovery. He was diagnosed with polyneuropathy and was unable to sit up, stand or walk. He may still be a bit wobbly but he's now walking up steps in the garden and is enjoying the sunshine (when it decides to come out) ☀️🌤 Well done Clive, such a good boy 🐾

Roman and Penelope for laser who have both taken to it so well and are always a bit sleepy after the session 🐾
Lily has been having physio sessions for her right elbow, we have been working on strengthening the muscles in both forelimbs to help support the joint and are now moving onto laser sessions 🐾
Ozzy the lovely older boy, has severe arthritis in his left knee and spine, his owners have been so pleased with how much laser has helped and has given him a new lease of life 🐾

Again I have been very poor at taking pictures of your lovely pets recently but it's been so lovely to see them all 🩵

So excited to announce that the clinic is officially ready to welcome your lovely pets from next week! ✨

I’ve really tried to keep the space homely and relaxed, so your pets can feel safe, calm, and comfortable during their visits ❤️

Of course, I had to show off the treat drawer, more treats will definitely be added 👀

You might spot some of the equipment already set up, including:

🐾 Wobble cushion
🐾 Peanut ball
🐾 Cavaletti poles
🐾 … and more!

There’s a comfy sofa for you and a cosy vet bed for your pets to relax on while they receive treatment 😴🐶

Bonny 🧡 got to see this lovely girl today for a massage and laser to help with some muscle tension, her owner does a lot of massage and heat therapy between sessions. After some massage, stretching, laser and treats... we had a brief cuddle and then she wanted to leave immediately to go to the pet shop for more treats to fuel for her long run this weekend 🐾 Good luck !

Last physio appointment of 2025, the handsome Mr Clive who has been diagnosed with suspected immune mediated polyneuropathy 💙 he is progressing well, we wanted to ensure he had treatment as close to christmas as possible so the gap to his next laser wouldn't be as long. He is such a sweetheart ❤️
