Awakening the dragon: Making the Dharma thrive in Wales

The goal of the Cardiff Buddhist Centre is to make the Dharma available to all who seek it. We want people in Wales to see that Buddhism isn’t something foreign or exotic, but is something for them. The Dharma is like a fire-breathing dragon whose wisdom and compassion can transform the world; our task is to awaken it! We’re doing that by practising together, teaching the Dharma and becoming part of Cardiff life.

The Centre is run on donations by those who use it, either regularly or by dropping in. This all goes towards keeping the Centre open, but as we grow we would also really like to make improvements to the building, potentially expanding it to include the ever increasing amount of people who would like to attend.

The main way we’re asking you to help today is by taking out a standing order. Regular income gives us security, letting us plan ahead. We can also claim gift aid on these donations, which boosts their value by 25%.
