Turkey Stew 🥘
Stew Season is Here! My Body is craving warm, cwtchy foods now its getting colder, a big pot is the easiest way to get lots of nutrients in one bowl 🥣
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of Tallow
4-6 Turkey Breasts
500ml Bone Broth
1 Onion 🧅
1 large Leek
2 large Carrots 🥕
2 Parsnips
1 Butternut Squash
1 small Cauliflower
2 Handfuls of Kale 🥬
1 tablespoon Mixed dried Herbs with 2 Bay leaves 🍃
Sprinkle of Salt & Pepper.
Method:
1. Heat the Tallow in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, carrot, parsnip, butternut squash and leek Sauté for 5-7 minutes, until softened.
2. Stir in the Herbs and Bay leaves, Cook for 1-2 minutes, add the Bone Broth then add the Turkey breasts Season with salt and pepper.
3. Stir in the Kale and Cauliflower.
4. Add more bone broth or/and boiled water to cover.
5. Simmer gently for 50 minutes, until the Turkey is tender and cooked through.
