Electrotherapy is a really effective tool we use in clinic to help stimulate muscle activation, especially when a muscle isn’t firing properly due to pain, injury or post-op inhibition.

Not all “nerve pain” is caused by a trapped nerve.
Often it’s irritated, sensitive tissue around the nerves — tight skin, fascia, and overworked muscles sending the nervous system into protection mode.

One technique I might use is cupping using a gliding technique.
Instead of static cups, they’re gently moved across the area to create lift and movement through the tissues. This can help:

✔️ Reduce local sensitivity
✔️ Improve tissue glide around superficial nerves
✔️ Ease muscle guarding
✔️ Make movement feel safer and more comfortable

Many people find it feels like a deep release — without heavy pressure on an already sore shoulder.

⚠️ Assessment always comes first. Cupping isn’t a magic fix — it’s one tool alongside rehab, movement work, and load management.

From 1st March 2026, there will be a small increase to appointment costs. This reflects increasing operating costs and ongoing investment in professional development, equipment and services.

I will continue to offer block bookings to keep the cost down for those of you needing a block of treatments.
