We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of a Live in Carer in Cardiff.
Live-In care means working and staying in a persons home with them for short periods of time and assisting them with all aspects of daily life - this may mean for a few weeks or a few months.
Shift patterns: Working on a 2 week on, 2 week off pattern but this can be discussed.
As a Live-In Care Professional, you’ll:
Provide round-the-clock care, including personal care, companionship, and home help.
Be a consistent and comforting presence, offering support tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Assist with tasks such as cooking, medication reminders, housekeeping, and emotional support.
Supporting out into the community.
As a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance of up to £35 per week, from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
More about this role:
Working in the Cardiff area, you will be living with a Gentleman in his 80's, it will be your responsibility to offer one-to-one daily support to our client in a variety of ways based on his individual circumstances. But your most important job of all will be spending time with him, ensuring his safety and keeping him company, ensuring he is comfortable and meeting his daily needs.
The normal rota for this placement will be two weeks on two weeks off, you will have a minimum of 2 hours off each day (usually in the afternoon).. You will need to be reassuring and confident to the clients changing needs with excellent communication skills.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

You must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Live in Carer for this role (we cannot include experience of looking after family members).
