Tros Gynnal Plant is a leading Welsh children’s charity working with some of our country’s most vulnerable and marginalised children and young people. They may be experiencing difficulties in accessing appropriate services in health, education and social care - these include children with disabilities, children with emotional health needs and children seeking asylum. Every child deserves to be heard, but for many with communication needs, further assistance is needed.

TGP Cymru asks:
Increase the availability of Communication Passports across Wales so we can give every child a voice, including those with communication needs.

Too many young people are placed in temporary accommodation which is unsafe, unsuitable and inconsistent.

TGP Cymru asks:
Establish standards for temporary accommodation so all young people have positive experiences that help them in their time of need to find a place which is safe and secure.

Too many children and young people can't access advocacy, and often those who need it most are left without a voice.

We're calling for wider access to advocacy for all, and a right for all young people in private residential homes to have access to advocacy services. It is vital that the thoughts and feelings of all young people across Wales are heard.
