Now more than ever, the reputation of my business matters immensely. I live and breathe this business and what people say and how they feel and think about the therapies I offer are vital. A local consumer survey conducted by Bright Local in 2022 concluded that 84% of customers will read reviews before buying a product or service and 68% will develop an opinion after reading between one and six reviews. If potential customers can see that other people have had positive experiences from my treatments they are more likely to contact me.

When a potential customer reads my reviews it shows them that:

• I have successfully helped clients overcome specific problems
• Explain how the treatments I offer provide positive outcomes
• Help establish stronger relationships with potential new customers
• Validate my knowledge and expertise in complementary therapies

This week I will be showcasing a selection of reviews I have received on Google my Business and also what customers say immediately after they receive a treatment. This review was posting in October on Google.

“I was very sceptical about reflexology being able to help me, I have mobility issues and lots of stress. My energy levels have increased, my joint and muscle pain has improved dramatically, there have been improvements in my circulation and pain levels, but most importantly to me – my mind is clear and my stress levels have substantially reduced. Once a sceptic, now I understand why reflexology has been in use for thousands of years. Susan is an absolute professional, clearly very experienced and intuitive. This is an excellent value for money service and I highly recommend Susan and the service she offers”.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a non-invasive therapeutic treatment that aims to help maintain a delicate balance between the various systems of the human body to promote relaxation and improved well-being. A specific pressure is applied to reflex points in the feet or hands where specific reflexes correspond to organs and tissues in the body. By stimulating these reflexes a deep state of relaxation is achieved helping the body’s own healing process. Reflexology does not claim to diagnose or cure any illness but can help to encourage a better night’s sleep; increase energy levels; and improve overall well-being. Reflexology is often used to help patients suffering with stress, anxiety or depression; grief; chronic fatigue; constipation; IBS; fybromyalgia; chronic pain; menstrual problems and supporting couples with fertility problems.

What is Remedial Massage?

Remedial Massage can stimulate the blood supply, make joints more mobile and help to repair damaged tissues. All treatments are individually tailored according to the needs and presenting conditions of the patient and will involve a full consultation and postural analysis. The treatment will aim to balance the length, tone and tension of muscles and tendons, restoring the correct position of the bones, increasing blood flow and speed up the body’s own healing process. Health problems that are often treated with remedial massage include sporting and dance injuries; sciatica; whiplash; muscular atrophy; spondylitis; arthritis, and frozen shoulder.
