This week, we’re focusing on how our team manage stress in their day-to-day roles.

In care, no two days are the same, and it’s important to find ways to reset and stay balanced. From taking a few quiet minutes, to talking things through with colleagues or staying organised with simple to-do lists everyone has their own way of coping.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, but sharing these small habits can make a big difference.

March 2026 - Ben is our Employee of the Month!

Ever since his initial placement with us, Ben has added tremendous value to Pineshield.

Whilst not all at Pineshield will see the result of Ben's hard work directly, his work behind-the-scenes has enabled us to develop systems allowing us to deliver and record outcomes-based care that is measurable and visible to all involved.

This has genuinely given us the confidence to pursue additional business directions. Ben's attitude is extremely positive; always keen to build on what we have and keep pushing for improvements.

Ask Ben to complete a task and he'll go above and beyond, delivering excellent results.

As a surprise to no one at Pineshield, Ben has also been recognised as Cardiff Business School's 'Best Intern' at the Placement Awards earlier this year - a real indication of his hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm.

🌟 WE’RE TAKING ON THE MUD FOR A GREAT CAUSE! 🌟

The Pineshield Care Team are getting ready to take on Pretty Muddy in Cardiff on Saturday 2nd May! 🏃‍♀️💪

That means mud, obstacles, laughter… and probably a few slips along the way 😄

We’re doing this to raise money for Cancer Research UK, helping fund life-saving research and support for those affected by cancer. ❤️
