Very happy to say we treated an 18 year old with multiple verrucae on his feet with a course of Verrutop, and he is now verruca free!

Are you diabetic and would like assistance with looking after your feet?

Our patient today was newly diagnosed diabetic and asked for a diabetic foot check and nail care. While this should never replace your annual NHS foot check we can keep an eye on things with you in terms of foot health.

We performed a doppler to check arterial blood flow to feet, a monofilament test to check sensation and also a screen to identify foot status and what action to take should there be a concern.

Nails were cut and filed, hard skin filed, and moisturiser applied. We will see this gentleman every 6-8 weeks for maintenance care.

It is very important to look after your feet when diabetic, you are more at risk of conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, and picking up the signs early could help prevent future problems.
