On the first Wednesday of the month you can drop in between 1.30 - 3.30pm and enjoy free coffee and biscuits, share stories, get information about help and resources, get to know other local carers or simply come for a quiet chat with one of the team at Credu.cymru. Cardigan Carers Support Group
I'm writing to anyone who came or showed interest in the carers support group I was running in Llangoedmor last year. I felt I should let you know that I've decided to close the group as I understand the having to 'reserve' a space in advance (due to lack of space at my venue) was creating an obstacle for carers. I know only too well that things can change on any given day when caring for someone.
I've decided to take myself to the support group Credu.Cymru and I know that they would welcome any carers at their much larger venues should any of you feel you'd like to come (without having to reserve a place beforehand). They have two meetings per month at two venues.

The Aberporth cafe is always the first Wednesday of the month, and we meet at the new Aberporth Village Hall 1.30 - 3.30pm.

The Cardigan cafe is always the Third Monday of the month, and we meet at Maes Mwldan (the Caredig residential facility) from 1.30 - 3pm.

Cardigan Carers Support Group - Just a reminder for any carers around Cardigan area that we're having another get together on Thursday 18th at 2.30pm for an hour. Just wanted to say to you wonderful carers out there, both past and present, you're not forgotten. We (other carers) know the sacrifices you have made or are still making in your own life, even if it feels like others perhaps don't recognise it. If you feel unseen, we know you are out there, know how it is for you and applaude you from afar. We're thinking of you. 🙏
