This centre managed to get funding from National Lottery to run these sessions, and we really want you to make the most of them and see the benefits they're already having on children π»

Step into a deeply restorative Crown Chakra Sound Bath, designed to quiet the mind, elevate awareness, and reconnect you with a sense of peace and purpose.
This immersive experience uses the gentle, resonant vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and healing instruments tuned to support the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) - the energy centre associated with higher consciousness, clarity, and spiritual connection. As you lie comfortably and allow the sounds to wash over you, the nervous system softens, brainwaves slow, and the body is guided into a profoundly meditative state.
Expect a feeling of mental spaciousness, emotional lightness, and deep stillness. Many people experience enhanced intuition, a sense of unity, or a gentle release of mental tension and overthinking. No experience with meditation is needed - simply arrive, rest, and receive.

What to bring:
Please bring a cushion & a blanket - there are spare, but due to high numbers, these often get used up. If you tend to struggle with laying on the floor, we also encourage people to bring anything at all from home that helps with comfort ie. camping mattress, sleeping bags, sun lounger, extra cushions to lay on, bean bag, camping mattress, extra cushions etc...

Join us in this fun and relaxed art class that's suitable for both beginners and experienced artists. All materials are included, as well as the canvas which you can take home with you. Just bring an apron or something to protect your clothes (or embrace the artistic look and wear clothing you don't mind getting a bit of paint on) π« π¨

Currock Community Centre (upstairs in the Jubilee room)
In this art class, we will be learning about how to not only paint trees, but create dramatic dimension with the use of light and shadow. Don't worry! this sounds complicated, but it's easier than you think - learn simple and quick ways to create realistic light beams and see how shadows can instantly create a realistic landscape.
As well as being taught the different skills and techniques, you will also get 1-1 support if you require it. This class is about having fun, so we don't worry too much about perfection, it's all a process. We want you to feel inspired, explore different ways of painting and learn something new.
The atmosphere will be very relaxed with the option of soft music if people want it, and there will be hot beverages with a slice of cake. This is all included in your ticket as well as materials.

Movement that meets children where they are π
Our family hub wellness Mondays at Currock Community Centre includes yoga that supports focus, confidence and calm β with no pressure to βsit stillβ or be the same. Perfect for home-educated or neurodivergent children to move, breathe and be themselves. Exploring different sounds every week creates that curious aspect to new instruments that children may have never experienced before. Finishing with some sort of art and craft is always a bonus at the end of a very calming yet exhilarating morning.
