❤️ Restart a Heart Day ❤️

Tomorrow is World Restart a Heart Day. Every October people worldwide come together to raise public awareness of cardiac arrests and increase the number of people trained in life-saving CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and defibrillator use.

The initiative is led by Resuscitation Council UK and its partners, to promote and raise awareness to as many people as possible of how crucial it is to know these lifesaving skills.

9 in 10 people won’t survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest so knowing how to do CPR could one day save a life and reduce this terrifying statistic as performing CPR can help double the chance of survival.

In support of World Restart a Heart Day we are offering 20% discount on any First Aid courses booked today.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with less than five employees.

The Emergency First Aid at Work training course provides delegates with an extensive first aid skillset so that they can identify incidents and manage them appropriately. The course is designed to be beneficial to all employees, fulfilling recommendations underlined by the HSE and ensuring that all workplaces have a designated first aider to protect against accidents. The qualification covers first aid skills in the following situations...

The course is designed for anyone who wants to receive training in Emergency First Aid and is ideally suited to businesses who require trained first-aiders in their organisation.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate valid for 3-years, after this period expires learners will need to retake the course in full for re-certification.
