Last week on Wednesday morning, our residents enjoying a lovely day trip out to Orton Grange coffee shop and gift shop and a good old shopping trip out in the afternoon to the town centre. We went to Marks and Spencer's, and of course had a much needed coffee break!

There was lot's of smiles throughout the day and a brilliant day out had by all..🥰

We're still talking about the spooktacular Halloween Party our residents enjoyed last Friday...🎃👻

Everyone had an absolutely fantastic time getting into the spirit of the season. The highlights included:

- A fierce (but friendly!) "decorate the pumpkin" competition, where each table showed off their creative skills.
- Fun rounds of pass the parcel and lots of other spooky Halloween games.
- A brain-teasing Halloween quiz.

We finished off the celebration with a delicious buffet while listening to some hauntingly good music. What a brilliant day!

Our team has worked tirelessly to create a bespoke, purpose-built luxury care home, perfectly situated in the heart of Northern Moor.

Recently, some of our lovely residents from Ashlands Manor Care Centre — Gwen, Ann, and Joyce — had the opportunity to visit and gave Upland Manor Care Home their seal of approval:

This cherished photo captures Margaret with her parents and five siblings, a lively household full of love and laughter.

Growing up as one of six children shaped Margaret’s childhood through the challenges of wartime and rationing, with family always at the heart of it. Later in life, she discovered that one of her sisters wasn’t her biological sibling... A revelation that only deepened her understanding of family and the bonds that truly matter. ✨
